2012-04-12 Online Beniversal Followup is now available
When a Beniversal Card FSA/HRA transaction needs followup, you can now do everything online: upload a receipt, upload a substitute claim, or make a repayment. Simply log into your account under Secure Login, click Beniversal Followup and follow the prompts.
2012-04-06 BRI forms and frequently asked questions are now available in Spanish
Your plan forms and frequently asked questions (FAQs) are now available in Spanish from under Beneficial Links, Forms and FAQs (Español).

2011-12-14 Change in mileage rate for use of an automobile to obtain medical care
Effective January 1, 2012, the amount allowed by the IRS for reimbursement of eligible services from a Medical FSA, HRA or HSA is 23 cents/mile. (For services provided 7/1/2011 - 12/31/2011, the rate is 23.5 cents/mile; services provided 1/1/2011 - 6/30/2011, the rate is 19 cents/mile.)
2011-11-02 Tax-Free Mass Transit and Parking Limits for 2012
Effective January 1, 2012, the IRS is changing the tax-free monthly maximums for Commuter Benefit Plans (CBP) as follows:
- Qualified Mass Transit tax-free maximum will decrease from $230 to $125 per month.
- Qualified Parking tax-free maximum will increase from $230 to $240 per month.
2011-10-12 HSA Contribution Amounts for 2012
The IRS has released the annual maximum amounts that can be contributed to an HSA for 2012:

| - | Family: $6,250 |
| - | Additional Catch-up Contribution (for those 55 and older): $1,000 |
2011-10-12 Sunscreen Products and Medical FSA, HRA or HSA
Under new FDA regulations, sunscreen products that are labeled as Broad Spectrum SPF 15 (or higher) may be reimbursed under a Medical FSA, HRA or HSA (if allowed by your plan). The Over-The-Counter Charts for FSAs and HRAs and for HSAs have been revised.
2011-03-10 Breast Pumps and Lacation Supplies will qualify as medical care expenses
The IRS has announced that the expenses associated with breast pumps and supplies that assist lactation may be reimbursed under a Medical FSA, HRA or HSA (if allowed by the plan).

2010-10-06 Online Direct Deposit
Participants can now sign up online for Direct Deposit of claim reimbursements as well as view or change a current Direct Deposit account. It's as simple as logging into the BRI website, selecting Direct Deposit and following the onscreen prompts.
