Beniversal and eTRAC Cards now accepted for uberPOOL

Van Pool Commute

We are excited to announce that the Beniversal Prepaid Mastercard and eTRAC Prepaid Mastercard may now be used for qualified uberPOOL rides under a Commuter Benefit Plan.

How does it work?
Participants will select their Beniversal or eTRAC card as the payment source within the Uber app and request an uberPOOL. Uber will then automatically direct them to a qualified uberPOOL ride.  Participants who do not have the Uber app, may get started at: get.uber.com.

What is a “qualified uberPOOL” ride?
In order to be considered an eligible expense under a pre-tax mass transit account, rides must take place in a six passenger or larger vehicle. Participants will only be directed to qualifying vehicles when using the Beniversal or eTRAC cards.

Where is it available?
The Beniversal and eTRAC cards may be used with uberPOOL in the following cities: New York City, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Denver, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle and New Jersey (state).
