Inc. 5000

Benefit Resource (BRI) was recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

The Inc. 5000 is an annual list which ranks the country’s top 5000 fastest-growing private companies and also features a special ranking of the top 10% of the list as the Inc. 500.

The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a four-year period. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of the starting calendar year, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31 of the last year measured. Revenue in the initial year must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in the most recent year must have been at least $2 million.

Rochester Top 100

BRI has consistently been ranked as a Rochester Top 100 company by the Rochester Business Alliance.

Rochester is widely known as a region of innovation spurred by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In recognition of that spirit, each year Rochester Business Alliance and KPMG LLP present the Rochester Top 100, a program that recognizes the fastest-growing privately owned companies in the Greater Rochester region. To be eligible for the Rochester Top 100, businesses must be privately held, headquartered in the nine-county Rochester region, and have earned at least $1 million in revenue in each of the three most recent fiscal years.

Top Work Places Rochester

BRI was selected as one of The Rochester Top Workplaces in 2014.

The Democrat and Chronicle has recognized 45 Companies and Organizations in Rochester as Top Workplaces 2014. These companies have been recognized as Top Workplaces based solely on surveys about the workplace completed by their employees.

Top Workplaces are not only better places to work but are more likely to be successful than peer organizations.

The employee survey was conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.

PayBefore Awards

BRI was recognized by Paybefore for “Best Benefits Delivery Program.”

Best use of a government-, business- or corporate-funded prepaid card to deliver employee or government benefits/refunds, such as transit plan benefits, health care benefits (including wellness programs and FSA, HSA and HRA programs), insurance benefits and non-government benefits. Includes reloadable and nonreloadable network branded, closed-loop and RAN programs.

In January, Paybefore announced winners for the 2014 Paybefore Awards—the most prestigious recognition of excellence in the worldwide prepaid, mobile and emerging payments industry.
