There is a two step process to set up your card for digital wallets to make contactless payments.
Step 1 – Set up your card for digital wallets: Each wallet is a little different. Follow the standard process for adding a new card to your preferred digital wallet.
Note: The mobile phone number associated with your digital wallet must be on file with BRI to complete registration.
If you intend to use your card for transit expenses, you may want to review your available settings to set it as the preferred card for transit expenses.
Step 2 – Use your Beniversal or eTRAC card in the digital wallet: Once you set up your card as a payment option, you can just hold it over the contactless sign at the checkout, register or kiosk and it will indicate the transaction was successful either with a buzz, green check mark appearing on your screen, or an image of the card appearing.
